Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A beautifully detailed antique, vintage map from the year 1885, of an aerial view over Pensacola, County Seat of Escambia County, Florida. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, and is by Beck & Pauli, published by Norris, Wellge & Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Also included, under the map are individual inserts of beautifully detailed illustrations of The Navy Yards, New Continental Hotel and Merchants Hotel and an index list of buildings of note throughout the area, including churches, schools, stores and manufacturers. This map has been restored and converted to nostalgic sepia tone.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
