Mary Ann Boysen Paintings, A Retrospective

August 10th, 2016 - Chagrin Falls, OH

Spanning 42 years of her painting career, she will be showing her work as it evolved subject, style, and media wise. She began with pencil sketches, all of which are sold or in private collections, then moved to traditional watercolor on 100% rag. As new surfaces were developed for watercolor, she tried everything from Strathmore Board, to R-tistx Board, to Watercolor Canvas. Later in her career she painted for a couple years in acrylics, then, when water mixable oils came on the market, she dived right into them! Even this late in her career, she thrives on learning new ways to create.

Her show will be from Sept 2 through Oct. 2, at the Solon Center for the Arts, 6315 SOM Center Rd, Solon, OH. She will be in attendance there on Monday evenings from 6 - 8 p.m. to meet others who might be interested in her work and career.
